On the 1st8 June 2024 Draft Act to amend the Civil and Commercial Code B.E….. also known as Draft Marriage Equality Act Passed the vote in the last session of the Thai parliament

The draft bill that has been finalized uses the word “spouse” in place of “husband” and “wife” and the word “person” in place of “male” and “female” in accordance with Section 1448 of the Civil and Commercial Code. This amendment not only affects the terminology used.
