The Lanna region is in the northern region of Thailand. The topography is mostly mountains and valleys. There is a flat area between the valleys. These high mountains are a continuation of the Himalayas and the Yunnan mountains of China. The center of the kingdom was in Chiang Mai Province. At present, the city of Chiang Mai is more than 735 years old, so our visit to Chiang Mai is considered to be a visit to the old city and an immersion in the experience of modern international culture.

Chiang Mai Province is not only a popular place for Thai people. But it also has a reputation that is accepted internationally. This can be seen from past rankings of tourist cities in major world tourism magazines, such as

From my experience traveling I can advise you that unless it’s an important festival like Songkran or Loy Krathong, then we should go for at least 3 days and 2 nights should be enough. It is recommended to visit only tourist attractions in the city first. Or you can add tourist attractions in other districts such as Doi Inthanon or a few more tourist attractions along Mae Rim. Because Chiang Mai isn’t as congested as Bangkok, we can drive comfortably. After we’ve made the schedule, we can start planning the next step. We can travel in many ways.

But even if you buy the cheapest ticket from Bangkok (prices around 623 baht or more), you will still be able to enjoy the same comfort throughout your trip.
